Call the 24/7 line
We take calls only. There is no contact form, no chat and no booking page, because a phone call gets a plumber moving faster than a message waiting in an inbox. Use the button at the top or the number on any page.
Our address is 32040 Union Landing Dr, Union City, CA 94587. Hours are 24/7, every day. Please call before visiting, since the plumber works at your property rather than at the address.
What to have ready when you call
A little preparation helps the dispatcher send the right plumber with the right tools.
- Your address. Include the nearest cross street and whether it is a house, condo, apartment or business.
- What is happening. Water, sewage, no hot water or a smell, and where in the building.
- What you have done. Whether you closed the main or fixture valve and whether the leak has slowed.
- Gas smell check. If you smell gas, leave and call 911 before calling us.
- Access details. A gate code, a tenant contact or the location of the water meter can save time.
Emergency numbers for Union City
These are public numbers for the agencies that own pieces of the system. Keep them handy.

What happens after you call
We take the details
You give the address, the problem and what you have shut off. The dispatcher may ask a few follow-up questions about where the water is and how fast it is moving.
You get first steps
We tell you what to do right away, such as closing the main valve, switching off a heater or staying out of a flooded room.
A plumber is arranged
We line up a plumber for the work. Ask them for a license number and an explanation of how the price is built before they start.
You verify and decide
Check the license with the Contractors State License Board, ask about permits, and agree on the scope before work begins.
When to call a utility first
Some problems belong to the agency, not to you. A break in the street, a water main leak outside the meter or a sewer main overflow is the agency's to fix, and the table above lists the numbers. Calling them first can save a visit.
If the leak is inside the property or the blockage is in your lateral, it is yours to repair and we are the right call. Our service area page walks through the ownership lines in more detail, and the plumbing blog covers lateral responsibility and costs.

Contact questions
This site is call-only. A plumbing problem is usually urgent, and a phone call is the quickest way to get help.
The line is open 24 hours a day, every day, including holidays.
Call ACWD Operations at (510) 668-6500. The district maintains the pipe on the street side of the meter.
